For State Representative District 67

Ron Reagan is a successful community leader and entrepreneur, having built the E.W. Smith Insurance Agency. A family man with strong family values, Ron and his wife, Lynn, have lived in our area since 1973. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Ron attended Manatee Community College and graduated from the University of South Florida in 1977 with a Business degree. Ron and Lynn (Corsi) were married in 1977, and they have three children, Jill, Ron Jr. and Katie.

During those 29 years Ron Reagan has lived in Manatee County, he has used his leadership ability to actively work to improve our quality of life. Ron has been active in our schools, the Salvation Army, the Sheriff's Advisory Board, as well as the Hernando DeSoto Historical Society and Foundation. Ron has continued to serve our community in various ways, from coaching youth activities for 9 years to serving on local boards. A member of the Elks, Ron is the past President of the Manatee County Independent Insurance Agents Association. Ron and his family attend church at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church.
